Mahlambi Celebrates Remarkable Start to Betway Premiership Season

TS Galaxy forward Seluleko Mahlambi expresses satisfaction with his ongoing football career development.

Mahlambi, the younger brother of former Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly winger Phakamani Mahlambi, has made a notable impact in his debut 2025/26 Betway Premiership season, scoring five goals and providing two assists in just 12 appearances.

The 21-year-old has played a pivotal role in Galaxy’s promising start to the season, as the Rockets currently reside in eighth place on the log, accumulating 13 points from nine matches.

“I feel happy, I don’t want to lie,” said Mahlambi.

“I have never believed that it would be me one day who would receive this opportunity. I am also grateful to God for the way things have unfolded, stepping into my first season and already contributing goals and assists.”

“Seeing that there is progress makes me happy.”

Mahlambi credited his coaches and teammates for their unwavering support, which he believes has been crucial to his success.

“The encouragement I receive from the coaches and teammates ensures that I am challenged at practice and supported during games, allowing me to flourish in what I do,” he stated.

“Although mistakes may happen, they assist me in correcting them for future matches. Their support plays a significant role in my current form.”
