Money Trees, also known as Bell Trees, don't naturally occur on your island. You will need to take specific steps to grow them:
- Each day at 5 a.m. local time, there will be at least one shiny spot on your island. Use a Shovel to dig this spot.
- You will receive a bag containing 1,000 Bells, which you can add to your inventory total.
- Next, select the amount of money from your inventory to create a separate bag. It's advisable to use a bag with 10,000 Bells.
- Bury this bag in the shiny spot, which will then transform into a sapling.
How Long Do Money Trees Take to Grow?
The growth process for a Money Tree in Animal Crossing: New Horizons spans four days, or four daily resets. After this time, the tree will bear bags of cash. Simply shake the tree to collect your rewards, after which it will revert to a regular tree.
