Meet The Blinded Resurgence Offspring in Code Vein 2's New Trailer

Code Vein 2 is just a few short weeks away, and to celebrate, Bandai Namco has released a brand-new teaser trailer titled "The Blinded Resurgence Offspring".

Characterized as "a lamentable creature whose vision has long since faded," The Blinded Resurgence Offspring uses a Katana to "strike the Revenant Hunter with unseen swiftness".

"A lamentable creature with vision lost to time – The Blinded Resurgence Offspring wields a great Katana, striking with unseen swiftness," the publisher teased. "Will you put an end to its suffering?"

This reveal is part of a series of character introductions for the game, which also features revenant doctor Holly Asturias, who operates a hidden forest clinic and possesses healing abilities from the Luxuria Bloodline, and Valentin Voda, the heir to the Voda House, descended from the Progenitor and one of the "most formidable bloodlines among their kind".

First presented at Summer Game Fest, Code Vein 2 is a highly anticipated sequel to the popular vampire gothic soulslike game. It will be launched on January 30, 2026, for PS5, Xbox, and Steam. Pre-orders and wishlists are currently available.
