Nintendo has revealed two delightful pastel colors for the Joy-Con 2 controllers designed for the Switch 2, set to launch next month.
The new hues, officially named Light Purple and Light Green (which some might prefer to call Lavender and Turquoise), are scheduled for release on February 12, coinciding with the debut of Mario Tennis Fever on Switch 2. This marks the introduction of the first new Joy-Con 2 color variants for the system, with speculation that more will follow.
In addition to the new controllers, Nintendo has shared an extensive overview trailer for Mario Tennis Fever, highlighting gameplay modes, characters, and features such as GameShare and amiibo support.
Nintendo has a promising lineup for the Switch 2 this year, with notable upcoming releases including an updated version of Animal Crossing: New Horizons on January 15, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade on January 22, and Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined on February 3. Further anticipated titles include Pokémon Pokopia on March 5, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream in spring, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book also in spring, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave in 2026, and FromSoftware's exclusive The Duskbloods in 2026, along with numerous third-party titles.
