The Premier Soccer League Recognizes Orlando Pirates' Dominance in November and December Awards
Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou of the Buccaneers has been honored as the Coach of the Month after leading the team to four victories and one draw in five matches.
Under Ouaddou’s guidance, Pirates has established itself at the top of the Betway Premiership, amassing 28 points in 12 games as they approach the AFCON and Christmas break on a high note.
This achievement marks Ouaddou’s second consecutive Coach of the Month award, following his recognition last month for his remarkable contributions to the team.
The Player of the Month award was claimed by TS Galaxy’s winger Puso Dithejane, who edged out Pirates' Oswin Appollis and AmaZulu’s Athini Maqokolo.
Dithejane’s outstanding performance included one goal and two assists, positioning him among the league's elite players.
Although named in coach Hugo Broos’ preliminary Bafana Bafana squad for AFCON, Dithejane did not make the final selection.
The Goal of the Month honor went to Pirates’ rising star Cemran Dansin, recognized for his spectacular long-range strike against Mamelodi Sundowns during their 1-1 draw on 1 November at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
Dansin’s remarkable goal, which left Bafana captain Ronwen Williams helpless, showcased the young player's exceptional skills and talent.
