The highly acclaimed Resident Evil Village is set to join Xbox Game Pass on January 20. However, prior to that, Capcom has made the survival-horror title accessible on the Xbox Ally and Windows PC through Xbox Play Anywhere, starting January 15. Before diving into the eerie experience, players are advised to hold off on downloading the game as it is experiencing significant issues.
According to reports, Resident Evil VIII has gained Xbox Play Anywhere support unexpectedly, despite it not being initially listed for the service, which launched back in September 2016. With upwards of 1,000 games under this initiative, players can purchase a single copy to access it across all Xbox platforms, Windows PCs, and select handhelds, like the Xbox Ally. Nevertheless, Resident Evil VIII appears to be among the most problematic releases as users have reported that the installation file is missing from both the Ally and PC platforms.
