As players eagerly await the release of the Steam Machine, it will arrive with a significant number of games already marked as compatible, denoted by a 'Verified' green checkmark. Valve has communicated to developers that the verification process will be streamlined compared to that of the Steam Deck.
In an interview, Valve designer Lawrence Yang revealed that the requirements for the Steam Machine's Verified badge will entail 'fewer constraints' than those for the Steam Deck. Yang emphasized that any title confirmed as Verified on Steam Deck will similarly achieve Verified status on the Steam Machine.
