Styx: Blades of Greed is among my most anticipated games this year, and I'm excited to announce that a demo is now available for players to explore.
This demo allows you to experience the first hour of Styx: Blades of Greed, starting at The Wall, a location I had the chance to preview with developer Cyanide last year.
Currently, the demo is exclusively on Steam, while the full game is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via both Steam and Epic Games Store on February 19, just over a month away.
Cyanide has confirmed that save data from the demo will carry over to the full version upon its release. If you're interested in trying it out, you can access the demo on Steam now.
In addition to this demo announcement, the studio has also launched a new trailer featuring Styx himself as he narrates his fascination with Quartz, a precious substance, while showcasing some of his new equipment, including the glider.
The storyline picks up after the events of Styx: Shards of Darkness, but players can enjoy this new installment even if they haven’t played previous games in the series. Personally, I had a great time trying out Styx: Blades of Greed last year, despite my less-than-stellar gaming skills!
