Unlocking the Mystery Gift Function
To unlock the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, players must reach a Pokémon Centre, which typically takes around 90 minutes of gameplay.
At the Pokémon Centre, the Poké Portal will be available in the menu. Players can select this option and then access 'Mystery Gift' to claim rewards.
Redeeming Mystery Gift Codes
Mystery Gifts can be redeemed through codes or by downloading from the Internet; both methods require an Internet connection, but no Nintendo Switch Online membership is needed for these gifts.
To redeem a Mystery Gift, open the menu, navigate to the Poké Portal, and select 'Mystery Gift'. This will present four options:
