Ranked lets you battle it out with other real-life Pokémon Trainers in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Competing in battles will earn you points which add up to increase your rank. The better your rank, the better rewards you can claim when the season concludes.
On that note, here are the Pokémon Legends: Z-A Season 5 Ranked rewards, including which Pokémon can be used and the Season 5 end date.
Pokémon Legends Z-A Ranked Rewards Season 5
For Season 5, if you reach Rank S you'll get a special reward of Sceptilite which enables the Mega Evolution of Sceptile. Also returning as promotion rewards this season are Chesnaughtite (Chesnaught), Delphoxite (Delphox), Baxcalibrite (Baxcalibur), and Greninjite (Greninja). Here's how to earn them:
Sceptilite - Rank S
Baxcalibrite - Rank V
Chesnaughtite - Rank W
Delphoxite - Rank X
Greninjite - Rank Y
This Season offers three different types of rewards: battle rewards which are granted at the end of each battle regardless of performance, and promotion rewards awarded upon reaching the next rank. Both categories can include items like Mega Shards. The final reward will be given at the end of the Season and will depend on which rank you achieve by that time.
What Pokémon can you use in Ranked in Pokémon Legends Z-A?
In Ranked Season 5, you can use Pokémon numbered 001 to 227 in the Lumiose Pokédex and Pokémon numbered 001 to 127, then 131 and 132 in the Hyperspace Pokédex. You can verify which Pokémon are eligible by consulting the complete Pokédex. Additionally, all Pokémon will be set to Level 50 during battles, so even if you have a Level 62 Pokémon, it will be scaled down.
Regional forms are permitted in Ranked but only one Pokémon of the same species is allowed in the battle. All three Pokémon in your Ranked Party must not share the same Pokédex number.
Pokémon Legends Z-A Ranked Season 5 End Date
Pokémon Legends Z-A Ranked season 5 is scheduled to end on Thursday, January 29th. You have until this date to climb the ranks and collect your prizes, after which a new season with a fresh set of rewards will commence!
