Unlocking Mystery Gift in Pokémon Legends Z-A
The Mystery Gift feature is unlocked after speaking with Mable for the first time in her office during 'Main Mission 3 - A New Life in Lumiose City', which occurs about an hour into gameplay.
To access the Mystery Gift option, select 'Link Play' from the main in-game menu, and then look for 'Mystery Gift' on the right-hand side of the screen.
Redeeming Mystery Gift Codes
Mystery Gifts can be redeemed either through a code or by downloading them via the Internet. Both methods require an Internet connection, but a Nintendo Switch Online membership is not necessary for collecting these gifts.
