Valheim Player Turns Server Into Dollar General Haven, Friends Are Not Amused

In an unexpected twist on life within Valheim's viking purgatory, one player has taken it upon himself to fill his server with Dollar General stores and chain restaurants, much to the frustration of his friends. What began as a single store has quickly evolved into a sprawling network across various biomes within the game.

The antics began when a user known as Greg the Sorcerer shared a screenshot showcasing a Dollar General he meticulously built in Valheim, humorously declaring his intent to irritate his friends. The level of detail in the store is quite impressive, complete with an eye-catching glowing sign and distinctive fluorescent lighting.

Following this post, Greg's friends began reacting. User Paladin Posting expressed confusion, asking, "WTF is a Dollar General? Why is it in my Valheim server?" Another player, Woman Mage, captured a different angle of the building, remarking on its absurdity.

Greg continued his mischievous endeavor, challenging himself by constructing another Dollar General location in the dangerous Plains biome, which was instantly noticed by his annoyed friend, Paladin Posting.

The antics escalated when Greg added a giant laughing emoji near the first Dollar General, prompting Paladin Posting to proclaim, "I do not want to play Valheim with Greg anymore." This led to the swift destruction of the emoji.

Although Greg has paused on new Dollar Generals, he has ventured into creating other fast food establishments, including what appears to be Valheim's inaugural Waffle House, humorously featuring a skeleton as a cashier. Paladin Posting noted the poor service at this peculiar location.

The latest addition to Greg's culinary empire is a McDonald's built atop a frozen mountain, which required extra time and effort to create as he leveled the site for construction.

Comments on social media reflect the amusement surrounding these unconventional builds, with challenges for Greg to introduce even more bizarre stores in more perilous areas of Valheim.

Valheim has been available in early access since early 2021, with Iron Gate studios diligently expanding the game. Currently, they are working on the final biome, the Deep North, which will be included in the anticipated 1.0 release, although a date for this update has yet to be announced.
