Will Smith finds himself at the center of serious allegations, but his reaction might surprise you. Earlier this month, Brian King Joseph, a former tour violinist, filed a lawsuit against Smith and Treyball Studios Management. Joseph makes some shocking claims, including retaliation, wrongful termination, intimidation, and sexual harassment.
During the "Based On A True Story" tour, Joseph reportedly walked into his Las Vegas hotel room to find an unsettling scene: wipes, a beer bottle, HIV medication, and even hospital discharge paperwork were left behind. But that’s not all; a suggestive note was also allegedly waiting for him.
It read, "Brian, I'll be back no later [sic] 5:30, just us [drawn heart]," and was signed "Stone F." After Joseph alerted hotel security and tour management about the incident, he was fired three days later, with management claiming the tour was "moving in a different direction." Joseph, however, believes his termination was a direct retaliation for his report.
Will Smith Denies Sexual Harassment Allegations
In his lawsuit, Joseph seeks both personal and financial damages, claiming ongoing psychological distress and PTSD. He argues that the events he describes indicate a pattern of predatory behavior rather than just an isolated incident.
Despite the seriousness of the allegations, Smith was recently spotted in London, where he was approached by a photographer regarding the lawsuit. In an unexpected twist, Smith laughed instead of addressing the situation before hopping into his car, according to TMZ. His attorney, Allen B. Grodsky, promptly denied the allegations, stating, "Mr. Joseph’s allegations concerning my client are false, baseless, and reckless." He affirmed their commitment to addressing the claims legally and bringing the truth to light.
