This deal on an AOC Agon Pro AG326UD 32-inch 4K OLED screen proves that OLED doesn't always have to cost an arm and a leg. At just £529 from Amazon, you'll be hard-pressed to find a screen as sharp, vivid, and detailed for a similar outlay. It's certainly a surefire upgrade on an existing IPS model you may have for a lot less, and worth a look if you fancy grabbing an OLED monitor but have been put off by their traditionally exorbitant prices.
AOC Agon Pro AG326UD Overview
It seems this AOC panel has gone under the radar against options from bigger players such as Dell and Asus, in spite of having a rich and vibrant OLED screen with their signature, inky blacks, sublime contrast, and immense colour accuracy. It's a panel I've tested, and I was impressed with all three instances for its lovely visual fidelity. Of course, as a larger 4K panel, it also provides some great detail, and a 165Hz refresh rate means motion is silky smooth. This monitor will need a powerful PC to drive it to its full potential, though.
The only chink in the armour here is SDR brightness, as is typical with the panel type, although it can get up to 1000 nits in a small window for impactful HDR highlights. Elsewhere, we've got DisplayHDR True Black 400 support, as well as G-Sync and FreeSync compatibility to eliminate screen-tearing or juddering whether you're using AMD or Nvidia GPUs. It's also a colour-accurate panel, with virtually perfect coverage of the sRGB, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB gamuts in my testing, proving the Agon Pro AG326UD's suitability for both productivity and creative tasks.
Against the dearer QD-OLED choices out there, where this panel falls down a little is with port selection. You're well-served with HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 options, and there is a USB hub, but you don't get any form of KVM support or a fast Thunderbolt USB-C port for display and power delivery. It comes with a pleasant look to it, though, with an almost offset stand complete with good adjustment with tilt, swivel, and height adjustment. The Agon Pro AG326UD will also go into portrait orientation if you need it to.
If you want to grab a feature-rich and detailed QD-OLED gaming screen for less, this Amazon reduction on the AOC Agon Pro AG326UD is worth a look.
